Child Safety Standards

1. Our Commitment

Tableport is a platform for organizing and playing board game tournaments and events, and connecting with other players. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and for child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

These standards describe how we prevent, detect, and respond to CSAE across the Tableport website and mobile apps. They apply to every user, in every part of the service, including profiles, tournament and event listings, tables, match records, images, and any message or comment a user can send to another user.

2. Prohibited Conduct and Content

The following are strictly prohibited on Tableport:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including any image, video, drawing, or computer-generated depiction of a minor in a sexual context
• Sexualizing a minor in any way, including in text, usernames, profile details, event descriptions, or uploaded media
• Grooming: building a relationship with a minor in order to sexually exploit or abuse them, whether online or at an in-person event
• Sextortion: threatening to share a minor's intimate imagery to obtain money, imagery, or sexual contact
• Trafficking a minor, or advertising, soliciting, or facilitating sexual contact with a minor
• Using Tableport's events, tables, or messaging features to make contact with a minor for any of the purposes above
• Linking to, promoting, or offering to trade CSAE material hosted anywhere else

These prohibitions are part of our Terms of Service and apply regardless of the age of the person posting.

3. Minimum Age

Tableport is not directed at children. Users must be at least 13 years old to create an account, and older where local law sets a higher minimum age for online services. If we learn that an account belongs to someone below the minimum age, we disable the account and delete the associated personal data.

4. Reporting CSAE

Anyone can report suspected CSAE, whether or not they have a Tableport account, and reports can be made anonymously.

• In the app or on the website: open the profile of the user you want to report, tap Report, and select the child safety category. You can report a user this way for anything they have posted or done anywhere on Tableport, including in tournaments, at tables, and in messages.
• By email: contact hello@tableport.gg at any time.

Reports involving child safety are prioritized ahead of all other reports. We aim to make a first assessment within 24 hours of receiving a report.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. In the European Union you can also reach a national hotline through INHOPE. In the United States, reports can be made to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) at CyberTipline.

5. How We Respond

When we receive a report or otherwise identify CSAE, we:

• Remove the reported content from public view while we review it
• Review the report against these standards, escalating to our designated child safety contact
• Permanently remove confirmed violating content and terminate the accounts involved, without a second warning
• Block the offending user from creating new accounts, to the extent we are technically able
• Preserve the relevant account data, content, and logs as required by law so that authorities can investigate
• Report apparent CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and cooperate with law enforcement and other competent authorities

We do not restore accounts terminated for confirmed CSAE violations. Users may appeal an enforcement decision by writing to hello@tableport.gg, and we will review the decision.

6. Prevention

• Accounts are subject to a minimum age requirement and email verification
• Users can block other users and control who can contact them through the service
• We do not offer features designed for children and do not knowingly collect data from children
• Our team reviews reported content, and repeat or severe violations of our Terms result in account termination

7. Legal Compliance

We comply with applicable child safety laws in the jurisdictions where Tableport is available, including obligations to report CSAM and to preserve evidence. We keep these standards under review and update them as our features and legal obligations change.
